Mount Waverley Secondary College is committed to providing high quality music education that is professional in approach, positive in attitude, highly creative and diverse in deliverance.

The Instrumental Music program offers an ensemble-based program where students must participate in one of our established college ensembles. Many concerts are held throughout the year. As a result of participating in the ensemble program students are provided tuition on their instrument in either group or individual lessons with trained, highly qualified music staff. Instrumental Music is an extra-curricular program and is totally separate from the classroom music curriculum.

The Instrumental Music program is available to all students at this college. There is an appropriate tuition charge for individual lessons and group lessons.
