Careers Week
During Careers Week, we were excited to welcome back our Alumni to inspire students interested in STEM and Engineering pathways. Students in Years 9 and 10 participated in a Girls in STEM incursion designed to encourage young women to explore future careers in engineering.
Our guest speaker, Ms Helena Ly-Lu, shared her journey from graduating in 2018 to completing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at RMIT University and beginning her graduate role with A.G. Coombs.
Also joining the audience were two of our Class of 2024 Alumni, Matt Taylor and Erica Teoh who are currently in the 2nd year of their Engineering degree at Monash University. We look forward to sharing more about their journeys in this term’s newsletter later in June.
This week we have Johanna Lindsay return to the college as a student teacher while she completes the final year of her Bachelor of Health & Physical Education at Deakin University. We look forward to sharing more about her journey in this term’s newsletter later in June.
