Our Year 11 and 12 VCE VM class got to participate in Road to Zero, an educational, interactive activity at the Melbourne Museum relating to road safety. The experience taught us as future drivers how we can be more safe on the road, both for ourselves and people around us.
We had the opportunity to engage in multiple different activities such as using a VR headset to see how cars have improved and the potential they have in the future to keep us safe. In small groups, we created a road safety ad, each group had the opportunity to decide the safety rule to focus on and edited it into a useful ad with images and music. The day was very educational for the whole group and was very engaging. We would definitely recommend this day for future VM students.
