Year 8 Boys Cricket
On Wednesday 18 March, the Year 8 boys cricket team headed to Mulgrave Reserve for the District Round Robin. Our first game was against Vermont Secondary College where we bowled first. With some good efforts in the field including an exceptional run out, Vermont SC went on to make 136 runs off 15 overs. We then made 61 runs with Apurv K scoring 15 and Vikhyaath B making 13 runs.
We then played Highvale Secondary College in our next game. Batting first we scored 86 runs off our 15 overs, Shriyam S top scoring with 27. Highvale SC then passed our score with 4 overs remaining. Kai S’s outstanding catch and Zach P’s two wickets were the highlights.
Congratulations to all the boys for their efforts and representing the school so well.
