As we approach the end of Term 3, students have been engaged in a wide range of activities both inside and outside the classroom. Many are also beginning to make important decisions about their learning pathways for next year.
Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday 11 September. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for students and parents to meet with teachers, reflect on progress, and identify areas of focus to support continued growth in Term 4. They also strengthen the important partnership between students, parents, and teachers in supporting learning success.
The German Study Tour
The German Study Tour is about to leave with a group of 14 students from Year 9, 10 and 11 German classes and 2 staff. Students and staff will travel through Germany including visiting our sister school in Darmstadt. This is fantastic learning opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the language and culture of Germany. Thank you to Ms Mary-Jane Boughen and Ms Jo Rogers for their planning and preparation of this 27-day study tour.
Year 9 Brainstorm Productions
Our Year 9 students experienced a performance discussing emotional regulation and cyber safety last week. Thanks to the Wellbeing Team for organising well supported by Middle School and our supervising teachers.
Year 10 Wellbeing Day
Looking after our mental fitness (wellbeing) is just as important as maintaining our physical fitness. The Year 10 Wellbeing Day gave students the chance to take part in a variety of engaging activities, including Virtual Reality experiences and an Escape Room challenge. Students also participated in a presentation and workshop from Rockit, centred on the theme of young people creating a kinder world. A big thank you to our Wellbeing Team for organising the day, and to the Middle School team and teachers for their support in making it such a success.
Year 10 Gala
The Year 10 Gala is wonderful celebration for our students. They get dressed in their best outfits, capture countless photos, and dance all night! It’s also great to see several staff joining in the evening’s festivities. A big thank you to Mr Aayush Khosla for leading the organisation assisted by Ms Stephanie Xing for making this memorable event possible.
