Year 7 German Schultüten
On Thursday 2 June, the Year 7 German class were very creative and made their own “Schultüten”. In Germany, children are given a “Schultüte” on their first day of school. Parents fill “die Schultüte” with sweets, stationary and little gifts.
We made our own “Schultüten” out of card for the base, and used many creative decorations which included pompoms, feathers, glitter, stickers and tissue paper. Making the “Schultüten” was a very enjoyable experience.
