Year 12 End of Term Picnic

Well done to our Year 12 Leadership team for organising an entertaining picnic for the Year 12 cohort on the last day of term 1. The picnic was held at lunch time in the beautiful sunshine with DJ Dulith playing some funky tunes. Our leaders also organised a lucky door prize raffle with 10 prizes up for grabs. To finalise a successful term 1 the Senior Sub School team gave each student a small gift of appreciation. Thank you to our Year 12 leaders for organising a fun event.

Mid-Year Entry to Northern Hemisphere Timetable Information Evening

Mount Waverley Secondary College will again offer Year 10 and 11 student’s access to our Northern Hemisphere Timetable. The advantage of this program is that it will allow students to finish one subject mid-year in Year 12 and they will then have more time to concentrate on the remaining four subjects in Year 12. In 2021 we are offering the following units:

  •    Unit 1 and 2 Biology
  •    Unit 1 and 2 English
  •    Unit 1 and 2 General Maths
  •    Unit 1 and 2 Accounting
  •    Unit 3 and 4 Biology
  •    Unit 3 and 4 English
  •    Unit 3 and 4 Further Maths
  •    Unit 3 and 4 Accounting

This year we will be hosting a virtual information evening to provide detailed information about this program. Students who are interested in participating should attend this information evening, parents/carers are also encouraged to attend this session.

DATE:  Tuesday 4 May
TIME:   7:00 pm

Registration is not required for this session. A link to the session can be found on the compass news feed. This is a live visual presentation; however participants will not require a camera. There will be an opportunity to ask questions via a survey upon commencement of the presentation.
