On Friday 14 February, Mount Waverley Secondary College’s very own Amelia V (Year 12) was selected to play her first game as a Western Bulldogs in the AFLW.
Wearing the number 28, Amelia started on the interchange before making her way into the action throughout the first quarter. In blustery conditions, disposals were hard to come by, however, Amelia was able to impact the game through her attack on the ball and her fierce tackling skills. We look forward to seeing Amelia continue to dominate for the rest of the 2020 season and for years to come.
Well done, Amelia! This is a huge achievement to play at the elite level while also juggling Year 12 studies.
