 Year 8 Challenge

Year 8 Challenge program ran at the Junior Campus this week from Wednesday to Friday and was also a huge success. Thank you to Mr John Simon, Mr Nic Barca, Ms Rachael McCracken and Mr Mark Quiambao for their work organising this opportunity for our students. Our Year 8 students had a great time being able to extend themselves by participating in a range of different activities including Hip Hop Dancing, Reptiles, Circus Arts, Yoga, Rock climbing, Improvisation, Wellbeing, PE/Sport and Our Planet. Thank you to all of our own staff who helped supervise or presented to students during these sessions.

College Values

We are looking to add further emphasis on our College Values and what these look like as actions each day.  All of our teachers on the Junior Campus are recognising students demonstrating these in and out of the classroom via our merit card system. Congratulations to all of our Year 7 and 8 students who clearly demonstrated these during Week 3 whilst participating in Year 7 Camp and Year 8 Challenge. We look forward to acknowledging students over the course of the year as we aim to consistently demonstrate our community values.

Visitors to the college

Throughout the year there may be times when parents/carers need to visit the college to discuss a matter with a member of staff.  If this is the case, please contact the college to arrange an appointment prior to attending – due to teaching commitments, teachers are often not available during the day.  All parents/visitors attending the college must report to reception to sign-in prior to entering any area of the college.  A reminder for those visiting our Junior Campus that you will need to park in the adjacent streets (please check the parking signs), the car parks are for staff use only unless needing to use one of our disability parking spaces. Thank you for your support.
