On Tuesday 26 November, the Year 7 Girls Cricket team headed to Northcote to play in the State finals.

Our first game was against Melbourne Girls Grammar school where both teams played some incredible cricket, only for our girls to go down by 4 runs in the last over.  In the second game we played Strathmore Secondary College with the girls displaying some great skills to win by 50 runs.

We then played St Joseph’s College Echuca in the final pool game with both teams finishing on 96 runs each.  The girls had one win, a tie and a narrow loss, finishing second in their pool and third overall in the State. This is a fantastic achievement and the girls can be very proud of the way they represented the school
Congratulations to the following girls and we look forward to them achieving some great things in year 8.
