Mount Waverley Secondary College is again conducting a Mango Fundraising Drive. Ordering details will be sent to all families during the last week of this term. To whet your appetite, you can order a tray of ‘Kensington Pride’ mangoes for only $27 (approximately 7kg of fruit, number per tray varies with size). Families will be notified closer to the time when delivery of the mangoes are expected and the date, time and venue to collect your order.
Thank you in anticipation of your support.
Mount Matters is running on Friday mornings on the Junior Campus at Year 7 and 8, being led by our led by our Junior School Captains and Year 8 leaders. It is great to attend these sessions and hear student ideas as to what we are doing well and how we can further improve. Thank you to Ms Hayley Dureau, Mrs Kate Rose, Mr John Simon, Mrs Bronwyn Nash, Mrs Margaret Taylor, Mr Way Lim, Mr Jason McCrae, Ms Emma Kerr, Ms Katie Radak and Ms Lauren Kelly for their involvement.
2018 NAPLAN Results
Students in both Year 7 and Year 9 have just received their individual NAPLAN results. These results enable parents/carers and teachers to view how students are progressing against national benchmarks. If you have not received your copy, please contact the general office.
Student/Parent Teacher Conferences
These important meetings are scheduled for Thursday 13 September on the Senior Campus. This is an opportunity for students and parents to meet with teachers to receive feedback on learning and put in place actions for further improvement in Term 4. I would strongly encourage both students and parents to attend these meetings. Bookings will open shortly via the Compass Parent Portal.
