Year 11 2019 Central Australia Trip
Last Tuesday the college ran an information session for the Central Australia Trip. It was wonderful to see so many families in attendance. The college needs a minimum of 44 students for the trip to go ahead and it will take place in the last three days of term one and the first few days of the term one break.
Expressions of interest forms and details about the deposit required to secure a place are available at the Middle School Office. Any questions can be directed to me at the college by phone or email – firstname.lastname@example.org
Year 10 and 11 Careers Expo Year 11 and 12 Information Evening
On Tuesday Year 10 and 11 students participated in a Careers Expo at the college. Students had access to a range of speakers and displays and had the opportunity to talk to different people about different courses and careers. It was also great to see many of our Alumni present during the day and evening. Students and parents (and teachers) enjoyed the chance to catch up with past students.
Thanks to all the staff involved in this event and a special thanks to Mrs Stephanie Thomas (Careers Co-ordinator), Ms Maureen Theobald (Head of Senior School) and all of the Senior Subschool team, Mr Matt Hall (Head of Technology), the Faculty Heads and Mr Ras van der Merve (Daily Organiser) for their hard work in planning and organising the day.
Year 11 and 12 Information Evening
Last Tuesday evening saw the 2019 Year 11 and Year 12 Information Evenings. Thanks to all involved in presenting and attending the evening. This included the subschool team, Faculty Heads, the Careers Team and teachers who set up displays and provided parents/carers and students with the chance to ask questions about specific subjects.
The VCE Handbook is on the college web site and provides usual information about the structure of VCE and subjects offered.
