These recitals are enjoyed by an audience of friends, family and teachers who come along to enjoy the music and support the students involved. Each students is marked by a panel of music examiners, made up of members of the MWSC Music Faculty to give them feedback on their performance.

On Tuesday 22 May some of our music students took part in the North Eastern Region Youth Concert.  It was a fantastic performance held at one of Melbourne’s best concert venues – Hamer Hall.  Our students took part in the Rookie Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Winds and the Symphony Orchestra.

I had the privilege of managing the Concert Band this year and I loved witnessing the students camaraderie and success over the rehearsal and performance period.  Special thanks to Mr Joseph Yu and Ms Melissa Knowles for assisting in tutoring and performance.
