Our Year 12 students started their final exams this week. In the lead up to the exams it was pleasing to see many students coming in and working with their teachers. Good luck to all of our students completing Units 3 and 4 subjects over the next few weeks.
Final Week of Year 12
Last week was an exciting way to finish off the year for our Class of 2017 and to acknowledge their contribution to the college. The Graduation Evening saw 250 of our students formally graduate in front of family, friends and teachers.
At the Valedictory dinner students and their families celebrated the end of their time at the college. It was an opportunity for our talented music students to perform and our 2017 College Captains also spoke.
The behaviour of our Year 12 students was exemplary and we are proud of the cohort and wish them well in their future endeavours.
Year 11 course confirmation interviews
During the past 10 days students and parents attended course confirmation interviews with the VCE Sub School team or Mr Batchelor or myself to confirm their subjects for 2018 and to discuss strategies and goals for Year 12 and beyond. Thanks to all of the staff who conducted the interviews at this busy time of the year and to the parents and students who attended.
Years 10 and 11 exams
Exams for students in Years 10 and 11 begin on Monday 13 November. Students are currently working with their teachers to revise and prepare for their exams. Students completing a Unit 2 subject will be assessed on the whole year’s work to assist their preparation for Units 3 and 4 (Year 12).
