From the sports desk


Tuesday 28 July in bright sunshine we hosted our annual Athletics Carnival at the Knox Athletics track. We were blessed with a beautiful day – not bad for the depths of winter! 


A record 900 students across both campuses participated in what was an exceptional day of competition. All students competed with great sportsmanship and we now look forward to our Division Athletics Day on Thursday 24 August with153 students representing the college including  Ryan Hatch (Year 11) jumping 6m 30 in the long jump, and other very enthusiastic athletes (photo below)








The house totals were close all day. Landy eventually pulled clear of Goolagong to take out the win. 



The following students were winners of their age group with a string of exceptional performances in a number of events:

16 years male: Janith Senarathne – LANDY

17 years female: Vivian Soo – LANDY

17 years male: Ryan Hatch – WHITTEN

18-20 years female: Tamara Bleechmore – BRADMAN

18-20 years male: Tani Young – FRASER
