News from the Middle School

As Term 1 ends, I would like to congratulate all students for the way they have applied themselves to their studies and extra-curricular activities. It was pleasing to see a large number of parents and students at the Parent Student Teacher Conferences held this week, seeking feedback to improve their learning.
During the holiday break students will be supplied with homework. Whilst it is important for students to rest and recharge over the holiday break, it is also important that they complete their homework.

Celebrating Student Success

Congratulations to Talia Folino in Year 10. Talia travelled to Canada in March to represent Australia at the International Gymnix competition. Talia received a Gold Medal for the best overall performance. Well done Talia.

Year 10 Work Experience

A reminder to all Year 10 students that all work experience documentation needs be completed by 21 April. Work experience is an important part of the Year 10 curriculum; all students are encouraged to participate in the program.

NAPLAN testing will commence from 9-11 May. Please pencil these dates into your diary. Further information will be provided in Term 2.
