Headspace is the national youth mental health foundation dedicated to improving the wellbeing of young Australians. We are excited to support our student leaders as they commence a campaign for a Headspace Centre in Monash.

Do you have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset?
Our mindset can play a significant role in how we learn and how we use those learning resources as a reference for future events. Individuals with a growth mindset, such as Walt Disney, Michael Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, did not let their initial failures hold them back. They did not see failure as an evil word – rather, as an opportunity for learning, growing, developing and building resilience.
The Student Services team, along with the teaching staff and Principal class team, continue to encourage our students to grow and improve through their learning experiences in order to develop a growth mindset. We encourage parents/carers to also support students at home by reinforcing growth mindset habits, such as the ones shown below.
